U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Bolt Action Rifle in .30-40 Krag. SN #244326. Mfg. in 1899. LOP 13 1/2". 30" Barrel with a VERY GOOD Bore for it's age. The Blued Metal is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition for it's age with normal wear and handling marks. The Stock is in VERY GOOD condition for it's age with VERY CLEAR CARTOUCHES AND PROOF MARKS. Stock is marked with a 9 over 434. Possibly a Unit Marking. Storage compartment in stock contains an Oiler but no cleaning rods. Includes 1 1/2 Boxes of 30-40 Krag 180Gr. Soft Point Ammo.
