MM inspection marks and numbers all match, Cartouche Stamped MM very faint, ( MM- Milton Morris) Scarce Government Inspector Mark. Octagon to round barrel, Nice rifling and bore, Front sight has some damage, Rear sight is a two leaf variety with 100 yd- 250 yd- 500 yd, Original sling swivels, Small crack in stock at wrist, Features a spring loaded manual shell ejector, The lever is a replacement but looks and function very nice, Rifle appears to be all original except for this. Overall very nice original condition military issued carbine.
