PENDING SALE. This rifle has a heavy 40 cal round barrel with a false muzzle. The removable part of the muzzle was lost long time ago. It was made in Chicago by a famous gunmaker G.Beuttenmuller who first appeared in Chicago city directory in 1853. The gun is in overall very good condition, with original tang peep sight present. Metal has a smooth hevay patina all over, wood is fairly nice. Action works but occasionally slips when you set the rear trigger.No license needed to buy except NJ residents.
