Description:
Very rare Savage 1899 38-55 with gold trimmings and C checkering and B engraving. The gun is completely restored, bluing by Turnbull. The letter states the gun was made in 1904 and shipped in 1906. The gold trimmings and C checkering and 38-55 is pretty special. All the screws and safe are gold plated as are engraved and gold plated. screws The wood and checkering is beautiful and the barrel is 26 inch. The condition of the gun is excellent see pictures.
