Large frame double action revolver with 4.5"" barrel. The gun was shipped to a Sheriff in Louisiana in 1935, and comes with a letter confirming this and the barrel length. The gun originally had nickel finish and pearl grips according to the letter, but has now been chromed and has faux pearl grips, along with gold plated trigger and hammer. This type of modification was common with police guns, since they saw a lot of wear and tear. The bore is excellent and the action locks up tight. This would be a great looking shooter.
