Colt ""Wells Fargo"" model .31 Caliber revolver. Barrel length 3"". Approximately 4,000 were made. The revolver serial is 164xxx which would put it at the end of the known serial number range. Frame has the number ""8"" below the serial number. The purpose of the ""8"" marking is unknown but is found on many of the ""Wells Fargo"" revolvers. Cylinder scene is very good. Numbers match including the wedge. Grips are very good and straps have most of their tarnished silver. Action works perfectly. Hard to find model. This one is in very nice condition!
