Hammerless Sidelocks - I have always appreciated William Evans shotguns. While they had their guns built for them in the London and Birmingham trade they obviously required a very high standard with details and quality that set them apart from many other makers. This dedication to quality is certainly a factor in why they are still in business today.
16g. Sidelocks are very hard for me to find so I was extremely excited to find this little gem in the UK and bring it across the pond. The non –selective single trigger (believe me that is a good thing, selective triggers are the ones that give single triggers a reputation for failure) is crisp and works perfectly. Choking is perfect for upland hunting or woodcock or southern bobwhites.
