Description:
***SOLD*** BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Co.) Martini "Cadet" rifle in .310 Cadet, dated to the early 1910's, manufactured for and issued to Australian armed forces prior to 1921. The rifle is marked "W.A.", indicating use by Western Australian forces. This rifle features a small-frame single shot Martini style action, with a simple lever mechanism that opens the breach, ejects a spent cartridge, and allows a new one to be loaded. No manual safety is present. The rifle is in great working condition with a fully functional mechanism and a brilliant bore. Some signs of finish wear and light corrosion can be seen in areas of the receiver and barrel, and the furniture shows average wear with a small stable crack on the top of the wrist.
