Description:
This is a Krieghoff Standard Nickle finish K-80 Trap Combo 2BBL Set with case. O/U 32in clays barrel with a second 34in single shot trap barrel with adjustable rib and 3 Krieghoff chokes. The butt is adjustable for length, drop and rotation, with the comb adjustable up or down. The weapon comes in a Krieghoff hard case.
This shotgun was my father’s pride and joy. He used it to shoot clays and occasionally trap. He was mostly a skeet shooter and had another K-80 4 BBL set for that. I was in the Army posted to Ft. Knox when he bought it. I came home on leave for Christmas and he brought it out for the first time to show me. We shot clays several times that Christmas before I reported back, and I remember how much pleasure it gave him to have a really nice shotgun. As you would expect from German engineering the weapon is tight and well-fitting with light wear from normal handling. My father was meticulous about cleaning his weapons after taking them out. This shotgun was never put away dirty or wet.
My dad died last year and I no longer get out shooting, arthritis in my knees cause me pain when I walk too much, so I’m selling the guns I don’t expect to use. If you’re interested in picking up a well-made shotgun that is more than capable of giving you the same feeling of pleasure it gave my dad, this may be the gun for you.
The receiver and forearm are stamped 22311 giving an estimated date of manufacture in 1992.
