SINGLE SHOT Training/Target Rifle
Here we present a C&R German Mauser Werke Model 350 Series Patrone Rifle manufactured circa the 1930s. This single shot bolt action Mauser Werke rifle was manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany and was used primarily as a target or training rifle.
The Mauser logo is on top of the action and the receiver wall is marked “MAUSER WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N.”, along with various proof marks. The right side of the stock and the butt plate are clearly stamped with the Mauser banner. The left side of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount.
The overall condition is fine. Original finish. Matching numbers. The action is excellent and the bore bright with sharp rifling. The stock is in nice shape with signs of use. No import markings. This was almost certainly a World War II bring-back by a US GI—and an imminently useful one.
