Description:
Breathtaking gun made in 1958, just after the war, in an attempt to bring back the fine gun business in Germany, for the American market.  This truly exceptional gun has two sets of 28-1/2" barrels, one in 16ga and one in 12ga.  Long splinter forends with Schnabel tips are beautifully skip line checkered with bone inlays of oak leaves and acorns along with very fine oak leaf carving and bone linework.  Forearm metal is nicely engraved and satin finished with blued releases.  The sideplate action is full coverage engraved in near full coverage with a fox and two ducks on left, and a setter and pheasants on the right all surrounded by well executed scroll, and gold line work as seen in the photos.  The gun was made with a Greener crossbolt and sideclips and the top of the action and frame are gold line border engraved.  The European Walnut buttstock is also skip line checkered, carved in oak leaf pattern and profusely inlaid with oak leaf pattern.  The left side of the stock has a factory cheek piece and which is also beautifully inlaid as seen in the photos.  The quality and quantity of the workmanship on this gun cannot be overstated!

Overall, the gun remains in near mint original condition showing almost no evidence of field use.  Stocks are sound, mechanics are crisp.  Bores are brilliant and shiny.  The coin finish on the action shows some minor darkening but is overall near mint.

This beautiful gun comes with very nice black leather case with A&F leather trade label.  The case is excellent with only minor scuffs and very minor stains.

This gun is priced at $15950 plus shipping to your FFL.  Please dont hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions on this incredible work of art!
