Description:
Heres a piece of history, 184 years old!  Nice U.S. Model 1832 Artillery short sword, dated 1838. Made by N.P. Ames of Springfield, MA. Overall 25 3/4" in sheath. 19 1/8" blade. 1 13/16" at widest part of blade. Over all great shape. These were used by Artillery units during the Civil War. Has the patriotic eagle on the blade, as well as the pommel of the handle. Has a small nick in blade. And has Ordanance marks on hand guard. Domestic only.  (Price includes shipping and tracking)..
