From my personal collection, I am offering a very high quality, custom 1909 Mauser in .caliber .270 Winchester. All work is of the highest quality.
The rifle was stocked by Phil Fischer in very nicely figured European walnut. Inletting is as good as it gets as is the wrap around fluer de lis checkering with fine ribbons. Butt pad is Pachmayer, solid black rubber, with basketweave pattern. Floorplate is Blackburn style straddle type. Trigger is custom. Grip cap is 1 screw steel. safety is model 70 style mounted on the bolt shroud. The upgraded bolt knob is checkered 2 panel. Bolt release has been checkered on the front face. Serial number, model number, and caliber are professionally engraved by hand. Bolt body is polished and engine turned.
This custom rifle is as good as they get at the price point of a factory rifle that cannot measure up to the quality of this rifle.
There are 2 hairline marks on the receiver rings that were made by scope bases that were mounted by a previous owner.
