Description:
This Original - Dueling pistol has a swamped, possibly Damascus 1" octagon to double wedding band to round 3/4" to 7/8" x 9-1/2" smooth bore barrel. The bore shows scattered internal pitting. The P grade European Walnut stock has been very tastefully carved and is mounted with engraved brass furniture, including a butt cap, thumb piece and pierced side plate. The flint lock with Mathias Staper in Wienn inscribed on the plate has been detailed with tasteful boarder line and stipple engraving. Single trigger. The overall length is 16”, weight is 2 lbs 2 oz. Please Note: There is wood missing along the barrel channel on both sides and a FULL break in the forend by the entry pipe has been repaired. Good wood to metal fit - made by Mathias Staper in Wienn. Condition: Fair. Our stock number is P-31-46. Will ship anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
