Description:
This would be a great addition to a Marlin collector or a rim fire lever action collector. This Marlin has a low serial number with an S prefix S3696 since these came out in 1922 I would guess this one to be close to that year. This Marlin also has the star which means it was made with the highest quality. By looking at the amazing stock on this one I would agree. This one does show some signs of aging with a few minor dings and fading. However, the bore looks great with strong rifling and no pitting that I can see. This rifle was not fired by me but has been function tested and everything seems to work. Take the time to study the many pictures I posted and research this one, you will agree that it would be an amazing addition to your firearm collection. California s must have the FFL say the guns legal in your state before you buy. All items have a 3-day inspection and inspections should take place while at the FFL’s location.
