SOLD Remington Classic #4 Sporting Rifle, Rolling Block .22.
Excellent condition, Remington's smallest rolling block, second variation made from 1900 to 1910, in Illion NY.
These were Chambered in .22, .25 stevens, or .32 rimfire.
This one is in its original .22 cal with a new bore liner. Quite often a boys first rifle, so it's hard to find one in this shape.
They went for $5-$8 at the turn of the century when most boys rifles sold for half that.
Take down action is tight.
Front and rear sight, and all finish appears to be original.
