Up for sale is this WW2 era late Remington Rand 1911a1 mainspring housing. The photos show the details of the late Remington Rand 1911a1's which has 8 grooves/ribs on their mainspring housings. The MSH has the plunger and spring installed. The ribbed variety replaced the checkered variety after 1944. Please see pictures of the item you will receive.
