MODEL 42, SN 498XX, engraved with gold inlays, made in 1942, gold duck inlay on left side with flying duck in oblong circle also outlined in gold, right side has gold flying duck with a gold circle around it, rest of receiver is engraved with a viney effect, very well done, 28" FC bbl., original Win. hard rubber buttplate, exc. standard wood, 99% blue, mint bore, looks like factory work, signed on bottom of frame "John Rohner Eng.". $3500
