We offer you a “Pristine” Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 .357 Magnum 5 Inch 3T’s P&R Cased Revolver Manufactured in 1978.
These 5 inch barreled model 27-2’s are very difficult to find in this condition. Especially as complete as this one is with factory presentation case. The revolver is in “Like New” condition as you can see. Even the cylinder shows only traces of being turned the past 44 years. The Walnut presentation case liners are also in excellent condition because the gun was not stored in the box. Inside the box is the cleaning kit and complete paperwork package as shown. The box shows some light storage marks as shown. One hinge pin has slid out and is missing but can be an easy fix for the new owner. The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked “N449228 / MOD. 27-2” with the yoke being marked “85X71” / “D4”. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “2”. The left side of the grip frame is marked “E14”, “D4”, “85X71” and “E19”. The butt is marked “N449228”. The right side of the grip frame is marked with a Circle “H”, a Triangle “O” and “5459”. The side plate is marked with a Smith & Wesson trade mark. The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The right side of the barrel is marked “S.&W. .357 MAGNUM”. The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is the original .357 Magnum revolver which was built on S&W’s large “N Frame” and was first produced in 1935 as the ‘Registered Magnum’.
This will be shipped fully insured to your FFL dealer USPS Priority Mail for $50 with signature required. The shipping is higher because the presentation case and revolver will ship separately so they both arrive safe.
