Hammerguns - This is a wonderful and high grade hammer gun by Rigby. What is to be really appreciated about it besides its obvious quality and beauty is the fact that it has not seen any restoration. This gun retains a fabulous patina that speaks of wonderful and caring use in the field.
Note this guns modern dimensions, marble cake English walnut and crisp engraving. Rigby records show this gun ordered January 26 1877 for a lord "?". See attached photo and see if you can make out the lords name.
