In conjunction with TALO distributors, Colt produced an extremely limited run of 1911’s in 2006. This extremely rare pistol is an elegant limited edition custom stainless .45 featuring: a tapered diamond grade 24 karat gold classic pattern on a mirror-polished stainless-steel slide, adjustable trigger, 5-inch barrel, white dot rear-sights and ornate custom rosewood diamond grade grips featuring an oak leaf pattern. Only 350 of these pistols were manufactured.
Colt was TALO’s first limited edition partner in the late 1990s. With the factory’s cooperation, TALO editions have caught the attention of a wide range of Colt collectors. TALO commissions limited editions of firearms and released limited editions of Colt 1911’s embellished with 24 karat gold engravings in the iconic pistol. This gun is as new!
