For sale is a Turkish Mauser that is marked 1938. The Mauser action dominated the late 19th century and the 20th century, and the Ottoman/Turkish Empires used the Mauser through two World Wars. This rifle design is based on the Model 1893 Spanish Mauser which was designed by Paul Mauser for the Spanish army. This rifle was made by Ankara Arsenal for the Ottoman Empire in the late 1800s and it continued in service even after the Turkish War for independence up through WWII.
This handgun includes a bayonet and scabbard, a leather sling, and the rifle is not numbers matching.
