Description:
3-3/4 inch barrel chambered in 380 ACP caliber. This is a Type IV with the added magazine safety. Blued finish with checkered walnut grips that have Rampant Colt medallions. Checkering is slightly worn but no cracks or chips. 7 round factory mag. Frame has light oxidation throughout with heavier oxidation & pitting on the slide. Must have been some poor storage conditions. Action functions fine and the bore is surprisingly bright and shiny. Not the prettiest looking Colt but it should make for a fine shooter or carry gun. These were made from 1908-1940 and this one was made in 1936.
