Sale Pending... Here for sale is a beautiful engraved and rare four screw Colt 1861 Navy with Ivory grips. The Ivory grips show a very nice yellowing and nice grain appearance. The engraving covers approximately 90% of the metal. A very similar engraved pattern can be found on other Colts in the book "Colt an American Legend" by author R.L. Wilson on pages 40 and 42. All serial numbers match including the serial number on the "wedge". Serial number 25397 shows the date of manufacture as 1871. Smooth cylinder rotation and perfect cylinder indexing.
