Description:
Winchester pre 64 model 70 in 270 WCF. Built in 1947,this rifle retains 98% of the original blue and 95% of the original wood finish. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle has a Redfield peep sight and a German Jaegermeister 3x9x45 scope installed with Paul Jaeger detachable mounts. The Jaeger mounts allow you to remove the scope and use the peep sight. The scope will retain zero when attached to the rifle. A very handy system that was state of the art in the late 40s and early 50s. The rifle also comes with a European braided sling installed.
