WWI U.S. military rifle, made in 1917, and later refurbished. The barrel is marked Rock Island armory dated 1943. The bore is excellent. A later sight has been added. The stock is in very good condition with cartouche under the grip. There is an inscription on the magazine floorplate. This model is within the single heat treat range and SHOULD NOT be fired. Overall very good plus condition.
