Description:
In the early 1960s the .41 Remington Magnum cartridge was developed as a police round. The idea was to have round that didn't have the draw backs of the .357 which tended to over penetrate and not have the recoil of the more powerful .44 Remington Magnum cartridge. Smith & Wesson introduced the Model 57 and the combat purposed model 58 in 1964. This Smith & Wesson Model 57-1 (manufactured sometime between 1984 and 1986) looks to have been a safe queen and shows little to no use. It would be a great addition to any collection. .41 Remington Magnum
