Description:
U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Rifle Carbine in .30-40 Krag. SN #390649. Mfg. in 1902. LOP 13 1/2". 24" Barrel with a GOOD Bore for it's age with STRONG RIFLING and some pitting. The Metal and Wood have been FULLY RESTORED by SHOOTER'S EXCHANGE and LOOK GREAT. 1902 Cartouche on left side above trigger guard. "P" proof mark under stock by trigger guard. Overall length is 43 1/8". Steel buttplate with storage compartment for cleaning rods and oiler (Not Included). Rear ladder sight does not hold. One of the RAREST of the Springfield Krag Rifles with only 5002 mfg. Weight: 8.2 lbs. Trigger Pull: 4 3/4 lbs. More photos available upon request. Ships to Lower 48 W/ Insurance $50.00.
