This NON FIRING collectors gun in FULL BRIGHT NICKEL PLATING is a copy of the "Smith & Wesson American" with the 8 inch barrel. The original was Chambered for .44 S&W American cartridge. This heavy metal alloy, copy weighs 2.60 lbs, about the same as the old original. The dimensions are exact. The weight gives this copy the feel of the real deal. This copy is finish in a STUNNING BRIGHT NICKEL every bit as shinny bright as any original pistolas I have ever seen. The hammer can be brought back one click, there by clearing the barrel latched to be raised, allowing the barrel to tip down exposing the chambers for loading. This copy does not fire caps, but it does chamber dummy rounds. Close the barrel cock the gun and it sounds just like the real deal. Now move the hammer to full cock allowing cylinder to turn. Pull the trigger and the hammer will fall. If you watch some of the later Western Movies you can spot these prop guns in the back ground. All this at a very reasonable price when an original would easily cost you 100 time as much. Other props and not included in this sale.
