We offer you a “Very Nice” Steyr Mannlicher MCA model 1961 Daimler Schoenauer Carbine in 243 Winchester manufactured in 1962.

The Stoeger Arms Corporation was the official Mannlicher-Schoenauer importer and Steyr worked closely with Stoeger to produce rifles suitable for the American market. The top of the chamber ring is marked under the scope mount “MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL / MANNLICHER / SCHOENAUER / MOD. MCA / KAL. 243”. The left side of the receiver is marked with 3 proofs that include “NPV” and “62”. The right side of the receiver is also marked “STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G., STEYR” and with the “STEYR in a bullseye” logo. The safety lever is marked “S” and the floor plate is marked with a “STEYR” bullseye logo over “STOEGER / ARMS / CORPORATION / MADE IN AUSTRIA”. The recoil pad is marked “White Line / Pachmayr”. The serial number is 37152 which are matching on the stock, barrel, receiver, bolt, trigger guard and nose cap. The set triggers that works just fine are numbered “3907”. So it is all matching less the trigger group.
The 20 inch barrel has a bright bore with excellent lands and grooves with no issues. The metal finish shows marks and wear spots and overall is in very fine condition. There are some small surface marks and wear from the last 60 years of use. The stock is solid with no cracks on the inside or outside. It shows wear, marks and dings from use as you can see, but is solid with no issues. A recoil pad was added making the L.O.P. 13 ½ inches over the pad. There has been an old sling swivel hole filled ahead of the current one as shown in the pictures. As you can see a mount and scope were added to the gun. The mount is a Leupold Adjusto-Mount with 1 in scope rings. In them sits a period correct Bausch & Lomb BALvar 8 2.5x8 scope with tapered crosshairs. The scope is clean and clear and wears an old school set of Durfee & Deming scope covers. They were the original version of the Uncle Mike’s scope covers most of us have dealt with in the past.

This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. It will be shipped in a foam lined double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.

Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check.
All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s.
