Up for Sale is my Colt SP1 AR15 Semi Auto Pre-Ban Rifle chambered in 5.56 or 223. This is a 1976 Model according to the serial number partly pictured. I have the original bill of sale from 1976 and am the only owner. In the early 1980’s I bought the XM177 barrel assembly and an early chrome XM16E1 bolt (marked MP) and carrier. I had them mounted to the original upper for a home defense weapon. The rifle comes with its original barrel, colt marked bolt (marked MPC) and carrier (marked C), a Colt 3X20 scope (with Japan sticker bought in 1977) as pictured and a M14E2 cloth sling. I lost the top adjustment screw cover on the scope and had to have a new one made. The mounted barrel has a scratch on the muzzle flash as pictured. The mounted barrel has been shot appx. 250 rounds and the original barrel has appx. 300 rounds fired. This item will come from a private collection with a copy of driver’s license and Bill of Sale but will require transfer to you through your FFL.
