Description:
SOLD  to Randy Grenfel  , Hamilton, Mt Listing a seldom seen Marlin model 1893 in the saddle ring carbine configuration in the rare 25/36 Marlin caliber. Serial number 336438 puts her around 1906, shortly after they were marked Model 93 but not this one. Has a case hardened reciever, plenty of original finish on barrel and rest of rifle. Sports the old ladder folding sight and front pinned blade on the 20" full magazine carbine barrel. Wood has numerous aged marks like one would expect on a 116 year old rifle. Nice looking very rare carbine, that shoots great, I just put three 25/35 rounds through her at 50 yd's. I will include an original full box of 25/36 Marlin cartridges if you purchase carbine. The ( Dog Bone ) Remington ammo maybe from the 1930's but ammo is excellent condition. You can shoot 25/35's through her all day which are easily found. Marlin just didn't care to put that ( W ) stamp on their barrels. Carbine has the serial number inside the stock on both upper tang and wood and on inside of butt plate, I believe the only time butt plate was ever off just now.In a old 1915 catalog this carbine was listed at $14.25 I'm afraid the price has risen boys along with everything else. I ship to C&R or FFL through USPS , priority insured with tracking number. I'd need a cashiers check or postal money orders. Call or text with questions or reasonable offers, thanks 920-590-3400 have a fine day. SOLD ! Randy  Grenfel  Hamilton, Mt also bought Savage TD in 25/35, $1600.
