This is an incredible example of a pre-war Colt Woodsman Match Target pistol, chambered in .22 LR, made around 1939-1940. It appears practically new and unfired with just a hint of wear on the left front edge of the muzzle, probably from shifting inside the box for the past 80 years. The gun is all original with beautiful early Colt blue, that is rich and lustrous.
This is a complete set that comes with a matching original box, a matching test target, 2 mags total, manual and even a hang tag! Beautiful "elephant ear" grip. Perfect bore. There is also a spare "elephant ear" grip that with an almost invisible professional repair and can be used for taking the gun to the range. Such complete sets in near new condition are almost impossible to find and can be a centrepiece of any Colt collection. It cannot be upgraded.
