What a find, a boxlock made by the same company who were turning out the LC Smiths. These were less expensive but still quality guns. To find these guns in this condition is rare because most were used extensively. this one looks unfired by the standing breech showing no sign of shell marks. The Hunter Specials were unique in that they built in the rotary locking bolt system as in the LC Smith models. This one has a small compass attached to the stock.
