The left side of the barrel is marked "PYTHON TARGET / *.38 SPECIAL CTG*". The crane cut is marked "LA9091" and the crane is marked "LA9525". The rear face of the cylinder is marked "38 SP". The forward left trigger guard bow is marked with the Verified Proof. The rear left trigger guard bow is marked "E". The right side of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN, U.S.A.". .38 Special

Chambers: 6 shot revolver.
Metal Condition: "All Original, retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is only the lightest dragline on the cylinder and some scuffing by the muzzel.
Wood Condition: There is little to no wear on these grips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.
Barrels: 8" barrel.
Triggers: Single (DA/SA).
Stock Dimensions:
The grips are checkered walnut with gold colored Colt medallions.
Weight: 2.25 lbs
Sights: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to a ventilated rib. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation.
