Description:
We have a Colt 357 Magnum Pre Python 4" Blue Revolver. This was the fore runner of the Python. According to some internet searches the internals are same as a Python. Serial Number indicate 1959 year of manufacture (according to the Colt Serial Number look up ) The grips are probably original but with amount of significant wear on the right grip have less than ZERO no collector value. There is plenty holster wear. Just a solid 357 Magnum revolver with some personality. Well lots of personality.
There is a set or rubber grips as shown in the pictures that was with the firearm as inventory. Guessing the rubber grips were either part of the trade or just added for use. Just a guess. This was a duty firearm for someone who worked the streets.. All of the holster wear indicate plenty of time in a holster. The right grips is totally worn as if in a right hand duty holster. Just a solid service gun.
We took as many pictures as we could to show everything possible flaw. There is NO box or paperwork. Just the gun and those extra grips
This came from the one of five estates we represent of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store. There will be countless other listings ranging from firearms from antique to modern to custom.
