The AMT Automag series was designed as a single-action semi-automatic handgun that could handle magnum cartridges that were normally limited to revolver frames. The Automag III was originally designed and chambered in the 9mm Winchester Magnum round. However, the pistol was later offered in the .30 Carbine round, a cartridge that had gained notoriety from its extensive use in WWII and Korea. This made the Automag III a standalone in its class as it was a full-size semi-auto sidearm that was chambered in a rifle round. This Automag III is in excellent condition, with only some small finish marks on the left side of the slide. The original box, manual, and one 8-round magazine is included. Second owner onlyy fired once. bought in 2007.
