Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: This is a Browning Safari (By Sako) in 22-250 mfg 1965. The gun appears to be in the same condition as when it left the factory 57 years ago. No apparent moditifcations other than upgrading the receiver screws to allen head. The stock is extremely high grade of American Fiddleback Walnut seldom seen in this grade. There are absolutely no noticable imperfections on either the wood or the metal. I'm sure it has been fired but other than little indication the bolt face, it sure doesn't show it. It has the high polished blue finish typical of the Safari grades, and a 24" medium varmint weight barrel that measures .668 in at the muzzle. The LOP is 13 1/2" to the end of the factory Browning butt plate. There is no evidence of salt damage which was a problem on some Browning guns of that era. It is equipped with a Leopold 12X scope with an adjustable objective and duplex cross hairs mounted in Leopold rings on a Leopold one piece mount. I bought this piece with intentions of getting a great deal of pleasure from shooting it, but now I find I will no longer be able to do that. This rifle shows outstanding craftsmanshiip as well as near factory new condition. It does qualifiy as CC&R. I accept certified checks and postal money orders.
