SOLD!!! This is an early pre-war model 1907 in quite nice condition, made in 1918 (S/N 39820), The model 1907 chambers the 351 cliber self loading ammo. The 1907 was introduced in the year of 1907, as a hotter version of the model 1905, as the 1905 proved to shoot weak with the less potent 32SL and 35SL ammo. The model 1907 proved popular, and remained in production until the late 1950's, where it was usedl by law enforcment and as a prison rifle. This one has an excellent bore, and crisp script on the 20" barrel. The front sight is original to the rifle, but the rear sight is an upgraded Marbles Buckhorn style. The stocks are real good, with no cracks or repairs. The butt stock has been lightly sanded and varnished, with the original butt plate intact. The blue would rate 90+% everywhere but on the left side of the receiver where it has flaked off some, but is smooth and still looks pretty good. The take down feature works great, and reassembles nice and tight with matching S/Ns. This rifle shows very little wear for over 100 years old. 10 round magazines can be found for the model 1907 online. $1150 by certified funds, with free shipping and insurance.
