We offer you a “Custom Stocked” Sako Pre-Garcia Vixen L461 Heavy Barrel Sporter in .222 Remington Magnum Bolt Action Rifle with Dies and Brass.
This Vixen was manufactured in 1965 and now wears a custom stock as shown. The stock has some nice figure with Monte Carlo roll over cheek piece design. The L.O.P. over the pad is 13 1/2 inches. The stock is solid with no cracks, chips or repairs. It shows some dings and marks from use as shown. The bluing on the barrel and receiver is in very fine condition with some wear and surface marks. The left side of the receiver is marked “L461 No. 85059” and two proof marks. The left rear of the barrel is marked “VIXEN MADE IN FINLAND” and with two proof marks. The top rear of the barrel is marked “SAKO / Cal. .222 Mag”. The right side of the barrel is marked “Bofors Steel”. The bottom of the bolt handle is hand scribed “85059”. The bore on the rifle is excellent with no issues. The adjustable trigger is very nice breaking clean and crisp. On top it has a set of Redfield scope mounts and rings. In them sits a Pine Ridge side focus 6-18x40mm scope with a duplex reticule. The scope is in excellent condition with clear optics. The package comes with over 300 pieces of Remington brass and a set of RCBS dies.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. It will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
