Description:
Russian Armorer's Model of a Howitzer circa 1750. This small model, though totally unmarked, probubly dates about 1750 and has distinctive Russian characteristics that predate Licorne design with exaggerated thick reinforce at the trunnions and carrying rings. Model also has beautiful bronze patina. Model originally from the Springfield Arsenal collection. Model is 6".1; 3-1/4" from trunnion to trunnion; has 4" barrel.
