Description:
Silver cigarette case with dedication from the Officer's Corp of the Observation Group. This case is quite elegant, silver with jeweler's hallmark. The case is 5.5" x 3.25" x 1.25". The upper lid is a checkered pattern. The dedication line reads "OFFIZIERKORPS DER/AUFKLARUNGS GRUPPE 122/ 1-6 - 39 - 30 - 9 - 40", to the left of the dedication is an engraved Iron Cross or possibly a Knight's Cross. The liner of the box is cedar. A pack of original cigarettes is included. Very unusual and very beautiful artifact from W.W. II.
