Colt Pocket Revolver manufactured in 1856 S/N 114226. Mechanically tight with all safety pins intact. Cylinder scene is deep and complete. Grip is 98%. 90% Deep bright blue remains on cylinder and barrel with some blue loss on left side of barrel. Case colors are vivid Smokey colored on frame, trigger and loading lever. Trigger guard and backstrap retain 85+% silver plating with some age related tarnishing. There is a number 2 stamped on left side of barrel lug where it meets frame.
This Revolver is a true rarity in that non engraved guns do not typically exhibit the condition found here.
This revolver is screaming to be cased and cared for as it has been for the last 166 years.
