Description:
This is a Colt HYBRID Government / Mustang .380, Government upper on a steel Mustang frame. All Colt, electroless nickel finish, exceptional condition and functions flawlessly. Contrasting blued magazine and barrel bushing. I cannot verifiy its origins, but I have see a few like this over the years, usually in blue steel. I also cannot verifiy the level of interchangeability of parts.
You will see some minor pitting in the slide. There is no indication that it has been refinished, and the finish of the slide and frame look to be an exact match. Understand that these are cast parts and Colt would pass certain as-cast anomolies that weren't considered structural- or safety-critical, and didn't exceed a certain size. Also keep in mind that the pictures are larger than the pistol and these anomolies are amplified vs. actual size.
All in all a unique and reliable Colt .380. Sorry no case or manual.
