Description:
Serial #W33114, .357 Magnum, 18 inch octagonal barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Taylors & Co. 1873 Winchester Trapper model manufactured by A. Uberti in Italy. The gun is a faithful reproduction of the original 1873 Winchester rifle and features case-color receiver and lever with checkered stock and forearm with traditional buckhorn rear and brass bead front sight. The gun also sports an added leather covering on the lever and Kirkpatrick leather butt cover. The gun is in excellent condition and can be considered a “Safe Queen" with any blemishes seen associated with taking in and out of the safe. The metal surfaces are excellent 99% plus with virtually all of the original high polish blue finish on the barrel, magazine tube and forend cap with only faint handling marks likewise the frame and lever retain virtually all of the original vibrant case color with a few light surface scratches. The walnut stock and forearm are excellent. It comes in the original cardboard box numbered to the gun. FFL
