Description:
Serial #90824, .32 S&W (Black Powder), 3 inch barrel with a fine dark bore with scattered light pitting and strong rifling. This is a later Model One-and-a-Half Centerfire, top break revolver manufactured by Smith and Wesson from 1878-1892 with this example having the later reissue “July 25, 1871" patent date on the barrel. It is in excellent condition retaining about 90-93% of the original nickel plating finish with scattered small areas of flaking. The later style Brown checkered hard rubber grips with fancy intertwined S&W logo are likewise excellent without any cracks or chips and slight wear to the high points. Mechanically the single-action, rebounding hammer revolver functions properly with a slight hesitation when cocking on some cylinders but does time and lock up tight. Antique
