The metal has about 85% original bluing, with the floorplate showing some patina. The numbers are all matching, it has a low scope safty,but the original safty lever is included. The bolt handle has been releived to miss the scope bell. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a receiver sight with the stock having been releived for it. The scope is a Kahles, Helia super in claw mounts. The bore is dark with worn rifling. The barrel is round sporter with one standing and two folding rear sights, and an intact front sight hood.The stock has apout 50% original finish with the bottom and sides of the forend finish worn away. There is a shield inlaid in the forend that has German writing on it. The buttplate is in good shape with a slight chip at the toe. The stoackhas numerous dents in it with one big one ine the grip area.There appears to be a wood repair on the side of the forend near the shield.The sling was bought in Oberndorf Germany in the 60s, by the gentleman I bought the rifle from.Price reduced to 5900.00 SOLD |
