SOLD Wonderfull pair of American Ashmore Warranted Flitlock pistol that measure about 17+ " long with an 11" octagonal browned barrel of .45 caliber with an excellent rifled bore. The locks both work well and the frizzen throws a shower of copious sparks. The furniture is brass and was polished in the recent past. Wooden stocks are New England tiger Maple and are in excellent condition, and both have a simple hardwood ramrod. Workmanship is very good, and not sure of the age of this pair, as there is very little wear, perhaps some scoring of the frizzen face..It's difficult to fine a matched pair of this quality , regardless of age. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
