Very nice early German SXS 12 gauge choked M& F. This old German SXS will make you proud to be caring out in the field. The stock is a beautiful dark walnut with very strong checkering and nice dimensions, LOP 14 1/8” DAC 1 ½” and at heel 2 ½”. The engraving is very well done with a dog & fox on each side and 2 deer on the steel trigger guard (pictures don’t do justice to the engraving), the fence has heavy relief engraving and the action still has case coloring. The barrels are 29.5” or 75 CM, bores are nice and bright with no pitting and bluing shows case wear at the muzzle. This gun has a unique underlever that makes it very easy to open the barrels are nitro proofed and manufactured in 10/25, the SXS locks up real tight but with forend off I can feel a slight wiggle. For a gun that is almost 100 years old this is a really nice old high end German gun. Priced at $1450.00 PRICE REDUCED FROM was $1750.00plus $65.00 shipping & Ins.
