This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand. The garand is a battle rifle from the WWII era. This rifle is dated to 1941. It has a new production stock with the CMP cartouche stamped. The rifling is in great condition The steel shows some wear for a rifle of this age but is in excellent condition.
